Hey Oddvar, my Norse Brother. Here we can count in Old Norse (well icelandic, its modern child)
1 = Einn (ayn, the a as in hay)
2 = Tveir (tf ay r, ay as in hay also)
3 = prir (thr ee r the i is long, like in seen)
4 = Fjorir (fy ou reer, the o is long like oh )
5 = Fimm (F i mm, the i is short like hit)
6 = Sex (get your mind out of the gutter, but pronounced the same)
7 = Sjo ( syoh)
8 = Atta (ahttah)
9 = Niu (N ee oo, The i is long like seen and the u is short)
10 = Tiu (t eeoo, same as above)
Next I will post how to count to ten in Gaelic for our Scottish brethern.
Hmmm, don't know how to count to ten in Elfish though. Maybe Surt would know that one.
