Specfic creacther race?

Are you guys a specific race as a unit?I know some only alow people to dress as elves or humans.I just wanted to know before getting garb.

I have a question about characters. I already have a character and I am working on his history. "Konradr Bogason The Greywolf and lord of the Ravens" but is it allowable to have two character's? I mean what if most of the time I want to be Konradr, stalwart subject of the Realm of Baraddun, Sea traveler, Norse mystic, and father of the wild grassrat twins, but what if there are days I want to be a little S@&% and come as a nasty blue-green goblin with pointy ears and a trickster mentality, or a thief with an elf phobia, or a wicked archer with black arrows (Oh, wait a minute, that's Kurn) Can you have two characters???

Konradr

You could have as many personalities as you want. During army ranks you need multiple sets of garb to advance to certain special ranks.

I see no reason why you could not have more than one character. However, as far as the ranking system goes, you may have to test as each persona. i.e. your ranks as Konradr may not follow you as an elf phobic black arrow using goblinoid.

Here's my character study for my alternative goblinoid. However, my knowledge of LOTR is weak so I may have some incorrect assumptions.

Character History.

Uthrach is a Goblin of the Red Dragon Clan. This is a clan of Worg riders and as such no longer dwell in mountains or ruins. They inhabit dense forested area’s and raid and plunder surrounding farmlands and villages. The Red Dragon Clan originally inhabited the Southern forested and mountainous region West of Morarda. For years they have been on the move northwestward. Uthrach is a scout and has been travelling alone through the forests east of Barad’dun. Scout’s are chosen for their cunning and wits. They must at all times control their natural Goblin urges to destroy and pillage. They must use deceit to infilterate the lands of men and elves and dwarves. Uthrach thus pretends to be a mercenary, a rebel Goblin who has left the clan and wishes to live amongst his race’s enemies and profit by war. He will gladly fight for any lord, with total loyalty to whatever cause is paying him. However, in truth he spies and sends messages via crows to the leader’s of the Red Dragon clan now in laying in the mountain valley’s northwest of Tathar Orn.

Though he pretends to befriend those in Barad’dun, he is still a Goblin at heart and will take any chance to fight a duel to the death, thus ridding an enemy without showing his true self. Though jovial in outward appearances, he is easily angered and will call for a fight of honor on any grounds, with any weapon. He has two weakness of character. One is Mead, the other is Elves. As a young worg rider in the great Goblin-Wood elf war, he was wounded by an Elf Archer. The silver arrow pierced completely through his chest, only inches from his black heart. The other Goblin’s left him for dead, but he did not die. He even had to kill his own Worg when the wolf tried to eat him. He survived on his own wits and to this day he wears the silver arrowhead on a thong around his neck. Whenever he comes across an Elf he instinctively touches the arrowhead. It takes him every ounce of control to remain the deceitful spy and not to attack any Elf or Archer for that matter.

Though sometimes beguiled by his wit and charm, the local populace of Barad’dun are begining to see him as somewhat of a trouble maker. Whenever some argument erupts into violence, it seems the Goblin is always somehow involved. With a little mead he gets surly and talks to himself in his Goblin tounge. He is always looking for a fight.

Appearance.

Uthrach wears a heavy padded black Gambeson with a canvas lining, and black troussers with red or black bindings. He often wears a black padded arming cap with the symbol of the Red Dragon Clan on it. The symbol of this clan is a red dragon’s eye on any black background. His skin is a dark bluish green. His teeth black and sharp. He also has black vambraces and a collection of silver arm rings and torq’s. He always wear’s his silver arrowhead pendant as a lucky charm.

Weapons and Equipment of War.

He carries a black Bow and arrows when riding his Worg ‘Gath’. On foot he often carries a black Pelta (Crescent shaped Thracian strapped shield) with the symbol of the Red Dragon Clan on it. His main fighting weapons are two Pilum (Weighted Roman Javelin’s) and a heavy Falx (Dacian War Scythe about 48” long with a downward curving blade that can cut through shields and men’s arms). His weapon of last resort is a dagger strapped to his ankle that has a sharp thrusting point and a heavy cleaver type blade that he has inscribed ‘Elf gutter’.

I'm almost finished listening to the audiobook "lord of the rings: the two towers", and I thought, amongst all the other character types that we usually see on our battle fields historical and LOTR types, here's another one.

Be an Ent.

An Ent is like a living tree. I was listening to the description of an Ent in combat after their attack on Saruman at Eisengard. Seems an Ent is impervious to all weapons other than Axes and the like. So I would say in our combat game, Ent's would not only be fully armoured head to foot, but that they would be impervious to all weapons other than REDS. (tree tanks) Also they were described as their blows being so strong they caved in men or orcs wearing armor. So then, translating that to our rules I would say Ents can not have a shield and must fight with Red weapons only or any weapon and Ent uses must be considered a Red while they use it.

Besides Axes and other big, heavy chopping weapons, the only other weapon that hurts Ents is fire. We could represent fire by having an object represent a fire, like a bucket or something, then an archer or someone with a javelin could touch it with their weapon then yell "fire" when shooting/throwing at the Ent.

Hmmmm the only drawback is you have to look like a tree. That is your armor/garb should be brown barklike and a leafpile for a wig. For some reason I think Sasquatch would make a cool Ent. A Scottish Elm or Oak with a kilt,

We could simplify the ent garb issue by just saying that the ent is a beserker (whether from LotR or barbaric tribes) with heavy armor, or if you strive for historical accuracy, you could go in naked... but legal issues of men fighting naked in a park may arrise.

Historically, the berserkers were feared warriors that were said could kill a dozen roman legionnaires by themselves. Often frenzied before battle by chanting and cutting themselves, they would be impervious to pain, often going into battle with no armor at all.

Hopefully my history is correct...
