Ordered Hakamas :D

However they gave me the size according to my height, and the hakamas are 43" long.. o.0 I'm not a fan of the high water style wearing them around my ribs... so does anyone know how to hem/baste hakamas? I'll probably need 5 inches off... I can probably get away with rolling the top down or something.

that's what i used to do with josh's hakamas cause you know how tall he is i would just roll them down. they will look great i'm sure!!! can't wait to see you in them

I have a pair for ten bucks. They are white with thick red trim. Should fit you pretty good too. I'l bring it to practice to see if you want it or not.

How do you make your Tabards Akeria? You mentioned a Template. I made a quickie one to give to Pheasant, but am not really happy the way it turned out.

well smithy and josh figured out the pattern and i make a stencil for the symbol on the front cause it's such a pain in the ass so hand design all of them if you looked at mordocks compared to phoxly's you could see a difference i did mordocks and caretakers free hand and if you also look they are missing a ear which i need to fix. we have a projector at home so what i do is i have the picture on a website of mine then i put it on the projector then trace it. then cut it out.. but we can't really use the projector right now cause we have no where to hook it up at so i'm gonna have to free hand this stencil but i would like to get something thicker than poster so it lasts longer! i feel really bad that's why it's taken me so long to get it fully fixed cause I've been waiting to see if the projector is ever gonna be brought back out. but i would like you guys to be fully set by WOR.

we might have to make you a new one cause i really have no idea where everyones has gone. i know jaysha has a tabbard i don't know where she got it but i don't think it's payed for and she has a sash that very well could be yours but i'm not sure i need to talk to her and find out.

I love the hakamas I just hate tying them... >.< 5 foot straps in front, 3 foot straps in the back. So much tying lol.

Phoxly you could just shorten the ties. Or you could try out some velcro straps.

Smithy is 'Mr. Velcro'. Velcro can fix just about anything, and if velcro don't work, Duct tape it!

I thought about velcro straps. The 5 foot straps go around the back, to the front, tie. Then the 3 foot straps in back go to the front, and wrap around the front tie to make a cross type thing. Or I could just shorten them and put velcro on it... I'll have to see. I'll wear em to practice this weekend.

interesting velcro would be pretty interesting?! smithy is a velcro guy?... didn't know that!!! lol
