Someone probably should have told you to stop with that video around the 9 minute mark. Everything is good in that video except the fact it tells you that you can use ductape to cover it. You actually can't have a duct tape covered sword, you'll need to have a cloth cover over it, and it may hit too hard with the duct tape on the end that hits you. You can leave the duct tape on and we can test it to see if it hits too hard, otherwise you may want to carefully take the outside duct tape off.

You used DAP right?

They look pretty good, I think you can use them but we'll have to see if they hit too hard, they look nice though!

Yeah I used dap and they hit kind of hard, or I'm just being a wuss. ;_; Dammit I just spent hella cash on these lol! I could always take off the duct tape I guess but that will be a super fun process.

Gonna go buy more foam and make a shield now... can't wait to see you guys tomorrow ^___^

The shield is pretty much the same as the video, really easy to make. We can test the weapons tomorrow, most people's first weapons are crappy so it's no worry. If you wanna fight still you can use our loaners.

We can also take the cover off one of the loaners and you can see how it's made.

yeah other than the duck tape i say that it's pretty damn good and the shield looks fine!
