Open cell foam

Where can u buy open cell foam

Galaxy Foam has a variety of open cell to choose from. What do you need it for and how much do you need? There are those of us who have left over pieces that could be brought to practice for you.

I just need enough for an Arrow head

if you go to the armory forum on the top there is a sticky with all the numbers and addresses for materials and such. i think galaxy foam is one of the top.

There's a great deal more to an arrow head than open cell, and would be best if someone could show you how to build an arrow head so you don't waste money on them. You want H90 foam from Galaxy Foam cut into 3" diameter circles. They will cut for you.

I know there is more than foam/shaft/fletching to an arrow - what else is required (even down to glue/needles n thread etc plz - never done it before so need arrow making for dummies list )

I am off to Pacific archery and galaxy foam tomorrow (anyone wanna come with? Have car, can pickup/drop off) to get supplies, as I have the next week or so off work so have time on my hands.

Then on saturday I am hoping some lovely person (Phoxly - I have been told by Smithy that you are the best man for the job...) will help me learn during the water breaks.


As I am already going to PA and GF, does anyone have orders? I can pick up tomorrow and pass on to you saturday - plus I am gonna see if I can get military discount so its poss gonna be a bit cheaper.
