My personal animal spirit is of course the 'gray wolf'. My raven banner was for my own personal household troops, huscarls, called the Raven's guard. Which I had been planning to recruit and equip, some day. As for the realm, I like the bighorn. What say Surt?

if you want to usee an animal for a personal symbol by all means go for it. but i don't really want an animal for the mascot of barad dun. i like the symbols we've come up with already. ie the sun, tower, etc.

Yeah the sun and tower work pretty well. But animal spirits are cool too.

What i mean by spirit is that on a lot of crests and such they usually have an animal or plant or something that represents the "spirit" of the people. A common demeanor or way of thinking that makes association to said animal understandable and something prideful.

Like the Bald Eagle is to us here in america.
It might not be in every piece of symbology our chapter uses but it can be used in a few pronounced places like a honorific or badge of accomplishment.
