PostSubject: The best kind of flails   Sun Aug 07, 2011 1:26 am

I would like to find out what the absolute best design for flails are. I need to know the best and most effective kind of design that will be able to move fairly well and eventually be able to wrap around shields for good solid back shots or side shots. I will be dual wielding them so as to make the best use the chain should most likely not be too incredibly long and yet long enough to do what is needed. Please, anyone, if you could help me it would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,

Sir Martin

there's not really a best way to build any kind of weapon but there are styles out there that suit a player best. Here's something that'll help you out when you try to build one or you can ask someone like taco or smithy to help you build them.

The best kind of flail... is a broken one. Very Happy jk

If you talk to Taco next practice, he has a pretty good idea of how to make "bag" flails, which are ropeless and not prone to stretching as much.
