looks like me and my wife courtney wont be able to come out there for the kings tournement. i have been trying to save, but with things that keep coming up, saving has been minimal. and i am no where near enough to fly out there. so i just thought you guys should know, since i have mentioned before that i was planning on coming out there. i hope you guys have fun. i know Josh(surt) would love that you guys are honoring him with this event.

my plan is to leave here after class(2:30pm eastern time) on wednesday the 2nd. that way i have a couple of days to check the city out, see and meet people. and then be at the event for the weekend.

How do you all feel about me wearing Surt's garb? i have some, not so good garb. so if you guys arent comfortable with me wearing his stuff then i wont. but his garb is a lot nicer than mine so i prefer to wear it.

I believe he would want you to.

That being said, I see nothing wrong with you wearing His garb. This event is, after all, a remembrance to your brother. What better way to honor Him, then to wear something everyone may remember.

I don't think anyone would mind if you wore his garb. Heretic was wearing his armor one practice and no one minded then lol

super bad news.... im not coming this time guys. my mom was checking flights today, and with ticket and taxes, its going to be like 500 dollars a person to fly out there and back. my mom was going to help me with my ticket, but she cant afford more than 350 for me and my wife has 300 towards her ticket. so combined we have $650 for tickets. we are close to 3 or 400 dollars short. im not going to ask anyone to come up with that kind of money. i just wouldn't feel good about it. i think i'll just have to wait to visit. sorry guys, i feel pretty crappy about it. i wanted to come.

Don't feel bad man, we'll shoot you guys a few tokens from the event, I know Surt would have wanted you guys to have them. There's always next year, maybe we will put the money raised so far for a ticket next year?
