| No Turkey in the Southern continent, unless its imported from Middle Earth. We have Themu's. They are bigged flightless birds that have spiked feet and razor sharp beaks that can cleave a man's arm off, or the haft of a spear. A good sized Themu can feed an army, but it takes an army to catch one. They are fast and travel in herds. Their eggs are the size of cats, and make a great omelette if you can find them. They bury their eggs in hollows in the tall grasslands of the Talath Gaya. Odd thing about the Themu, its one of the few ground birds that prefer hunting meat to eating vegetation. You! Hunter, You look like meat....=) Of course, if you're a true Norseman, you were at the docks waiting for the Knarr to come in from the home islands with a True Norseman's thanksgiving feast, yep, PUFFINS!!!
