Character name/Nickname: James Stoneheart

Nickname(s): Templar

Age: 22

Race: Half-Dwarf

Unit: War Wolves, Leader of the Ship Raven's Wind

Occupation (Optional): Clergyman, Cleric

Social Status: Priest, Middle-upper class

General character description: Stoneheart if a kind soul who would show mercy to his enemy rather then execute them when given the chance. However if his enemies show no humility Stoneheart isn't afraid to give his all. Although not the funniest in a group, his puns are known to give an awful groan or a tip of the hat. His dedication to his faith (dwarven ancestry) is a huge factor to large decisions, to the point of meditation/prayer for guidance in a non-stressful situation. Stoneheart would be someone you would call upon for a helping hand. He is innocent yet not naive, so he gets most sexual jokes/innuendos and makes a few himself, however he doesn't swear at all (exception being ''oh god/goddess'')

Brief character history: Stoneheart was rescued by his Father (a fellow man of the cloth/Templar) from a goblin raid, he traveled to Barad'dun to his now guardian Peter Stoneheart. Raised in Barad'dun under the guidance of the priest, James grew up around the frightful presence of the Dwarven deities and learned how to channel his faith to heal the ill and his allies

Appearance and clothing: Stoneheart is short and stout, around 5'2. While working in the church he wears either white or brown monk-esque robes with a chainmail rosary. Outside of work he wears either bright or earthy colored gored tunics (viking tunics) and baggy red, dark blue, or brown pants with leg wraps/winnagas covering his lower legs/calfs

Distinguishing features about character's speech (Any accents? Catchphrases? Please provide a brief sample of your character's dialogue.): Stoneheart likes to make a lot of puns and also refrains from swearing (Dog nabbit, oh shoot, etc.). He is also somewhat shy/timid with new people and will most likely have pauses in his speech, as though of thinking what to say to not offend someone

‘’Oh…..I recently came back from a….adventure of sorts.’’ He said awkwardly, rubbing the back of his head. ‘’I’m not much of a story teller…Konradr Greywolf would just love to tell you the tale if you want to.’’

Does your character have any ailments or disabilities?: From the battle of outpost 7, Stoneheart took an arrow to the right calf so he has a slight limp. He carries either a large hammer/axe or a cane. He is still an adventurer however.

Does your character have any specific relationships to any other characters (Family, romantic relationships, friendships):
His only surviving family members Stoneheart has is his guardian Peter and his mother, who is currently lost in the the mines of the red goblin tribe. He is best friends with Demie Zephyra and is on good terms with most of the realm.

How does your character handle stressful situations?
For most stressful situations Stoneheart looks after other people before his own safety. When singled out, he will think defensively and act so, blocking most shots before going for that perfect shot

What is your character's fighting style and preferred kit?
Preferred kit is a 8ft spear for sniping, a red axe or hammer for breaking shields/intimidating, blue axes for hooking shields and either a rectangle backshield or large 32'' round strap shield.
Fighting style is very defensive, able to know what shots an opponent will throw/make

Is your character from Barad'Dun? If not, what brought them here?
Stoneheart is from a small dwarven trade city north of Barad'dun

How did your character join their unit (Optional)?
Founded the original order of the War Wolves with Konradr Greywolf, Oodvar Isgramnurson and Pheasant

Demie wants greatness. She wants to become the highest ranking member of the army. She also wants to build up her "business" enough to be able to leave it to her sister to support her. Once she achieves that, she wants to settle down and begin her family.

Character name: Kier Zaran

Age: 27

Race: Human

Unit: Stone Covenant

Occupation (Optional): Wonderer

Social Status:

General character description:

Kier has been a warrior his whole life and it is the only thing he knows. Kier isn't overly rude or crass. He is just rough. Also, he doesn't say much but not out of shyness. He just doesn't always see the point. He is much more about action and doing then sitting and stewing. He is prone to not thinking situations all the way through and acting before he realizes it might have been better to talk it out or find out more information. He has a strong commitment to the God of the Admarian people. He is religious after his own fashion but you won't see him openly praying.

Brief character history:

Kier grew up in the Deserts of Admar (think Arabian Desert.) as part of the Rana Zin Kal'Zaran. His clan of nomadic people. They are one of multiple clans that wander the desert hunting Dragons and Dragon Kin. The Desert clans rage a near constant war on one another. As such fighting as been part of Kier's life since he was born. When he was 15 his entire clan was destroyed by a couple of Dragons working in a team. Kier barely escaped with his life. He spent the next 8 years working and training with the Kalin Abuir. or Dragon Knights. A group of Desert Druids and Rangers that believe it sinful to slay the Dragons of Admar. They seek to protect the natural balance of the Desert by providing safe havens for the Dragons to breed. At the age of 23 Kier left the Deserts of Admar and found a ship to take him from his home contient far to the east of Barad'Dun.

Appearance and clothing:

Kier is 5'11'', has green eyes, and black hair. He has olive skin and a hard face. Most wouldn't call him pretty, he has a rough face of all planes and angles. He wears the garb of the Kalin Abuir, brown linen Haram pants, and a tan long sleeve linen Kurta. (mid thigh length shirt.) Around his waist is a large burnt orange linen sash and his head is rapped with a linen turban of the same color. The turban covers his whole head and neck and drapes down this back and front. There is a piece that hangs to mid chest that he can pull up and cover his mouth and nose with, leaving only his eyes exposed. That is mostly for Sandstroms. It does work for intimidating some people however.

Distinguishing features about character's speech (Any accents? Catchphrases? Please provide a brief sample of your character's dialogue.):

He often speaks of the Deserts of Admar and uses old sayings of his people to illustrate points, when he does talk.

"You know, My people say if you check every hole for vipers before you sleep, you will never sleep in your life. Its better to live then to fear."

Does your character have any ailments or disabilities?

Some speculate that the reason he insists on the traditional garb of his people, even though he is out of the desert, is because his body is covered in puckered burns from the Dragon that killed his people. Weather this is the case or not it does not hinder his fighting ability or physical condition.

Does your character have any specific relationships to any other characters (Family, romantic relationships, friendships):

Nope. He is new to Barad'Dun and as such has yet to meet any of them.

How does your character handle stressful situations?

Seeing as his whole life is basically stress he handels it very well, as long as he can act. He keeps his head cool in almsot all situations unless it involves a lot of sitting, waiting, or talking. He will quickly get impatient, anxious, and snappy.

What is your character's fighting style and preferred kit?

The Kalin Abuir hunt animals to keep nature balanced. Their weapon of choice while hunting? A 6 ft. spear with a 20" inch blade for cutting and thrusting. (Red Glaive)

They also fight with the Clans of the Desert as well as merchants and explorers that they feel pose a threat to the land. They use both their spear and Dual wield their Kopis (blue sword) and Kukri (Blue Sword) with deadly results in close quarters.

Kier uses both these weapons with skill and familiarity. He is very agressive, fast, and thinks little of defense. He attacks fast, and is all about the offensive.

Is your character from Barad'Dun? If not, what brought them here?

No. Kier is from the Desert contient of Admar. Far to the east. He left there to learn more about the world, find adventure, and try to forget the failure of his past.

How did your character join their unit (Optional)?

Does your character have any important titles?

Kalin Abuir. (Dragon Knight of Admar.)

Does your character have any useful skills?

He knows how to live off of next to nothing, also survive indefinitely in a desert wasteland. He can find water in the most unlikely of places. He is an adapt hunter, skinner, and gatherer. He is also good with herbs. He knows most of which that are poisonous, which are edible, and which are useful for healing or alleviate ailments. He is at home in the wild and can navigate in any terrain, as long as he can see the sky.

Is there anything your character is particularly bad at?

Math, Science, talking to people.

What are your characters hobbies and likes?

Hunting, Hiking, Nature, War.

What are your character's fears and dislikes?

Kier isn't quite used to Water as of yet. Not that he is afraid of it, but he is nervous when there is so much of it gathered in one place. Furthermore He doesn't know how to swim.

What are your character's long term goals?

He is constantly seeking for a way to prove his honor in order to regain it.

Character name: Strider Pharazôn

Age: 21

Race: Númenórean

Unit: The Royal Army of Barad'Dun

Occupation (Optional): Wandering sword for hire, and acquirer of goods.

Social Status: Strider has never felt the sting of poverty, being the adopted son of a blacksmith. Although, he's made his own fortune selling his sword and hustling the occasional pub goer.

General character description: He loves a good laugh and a strong drink. Has a sharp wit, good looks, and is humble to boot. Though he may have a care-free attitude, he won't hold back how he feels if a stern hand is needed. Strider cares deeply for his friends, though he may not always show how he feels.

Brief character history: His parents were killed during an Uruk'Hai raid while on duty for the Royal Army. A close friend, Beren the blacksmith, took Strider in and raised him to be a man. He hated the royal army for what had happened to his parents, but eventually Beren had shown him the good in what his parents achieved while in the army. He enlisted when he was 17 and has had many adventures with his comrades in arms.

Appearance and clothing: Standing broad at six feet tall, his flowing hair shines gold in the sun. His style of garb is suited to blend with a crowd, though it fits loose enough to allow him to jump into battle.

Distinguishing features about character's speech: Although he has a relaxed attitude, he isn't afraid to speak his mind on important matters. In battle, he jokes about situations he might need to take seriously, but the banter sometimes throws off his opponents.

"Impressive, you're fast. Unfortunately for you, I'm faster. I'll give you a moment to pray if you're into that kind of thing..."

Does your character have any ailments or disabilities? Alas, his golden mane was cut short in a fierce battle with a desert Wyrm some years ago.

Does your character have any specific relationships to any other characters: Strider has a good amount of friends and comrades in Barad'Dun; most notably, Nightmare, of the Black Lions. He is romantically involved with a beautiful native woman of the city.

How does your character handle stressful situations? He oft will try and strike before his opponent knows what has happened. If his speed won't do it, he will fall back on his intellect to solve the situation.

What is your character's fighting style and preferred kit? He has knowledge of all types of weapons, but has mastered the art of single blade and sword and shield combat.

Is your character from Barad'Dun? If not, what brought them here? Though born here in Barad'Dun, he is descended from the brother of the last king of Númenor. When the continent sank, his ancestors settled on the shores of pre-Barad'Dun.

How did your character join their unit? Strider despised the Royal Army for the death of his parents, but Beren finally changed his mind. He convinced him of all the good his parents had achieved, and how they sacrificed themselves for those they loved here in the city.

Does your character have any important titles? He occasionally goes by the "Golden Shadow", as well as "rogue" and "scoundrel" here and there.

Does your character have any useful skills? Beren has taught him a bit of smithing, and he can talk his way out of most trouble. His sword skills have earned him a fortune, as well as his pickpocketing.

Is there anything your character is particularly bad at? He may sometimes be apathetic towards those he believe are wasting his time, and will show no remorse for actions taken out of survival.

What are your characters hobbies and likes? Drinking, fighting, and relaxing.

What are your character's fears and dislikes? God-forsaken spiders. Normal spiders too.

What are your character's long term goals? To become a renown warrior in Barad'Dun, and to regale his adventures to all the people waiting to hear the stories. Being so well liked that he never has to pay for his own drinks will also suffice.
