What is there to do in town??!??

Im new to the area and ive been sitting on my bum for the past few weeks. what is there to do around here? it sucks i dont have any moeny and i dont know anyone. id at least have a job to do if i could freaken find one! GAH!!! im goin crazy! the most fun ive had was at practice last weekend.

You guys should know, what is there to do?

Without money there really isn't much, maybe get together with some of the group and do somethin like go to a Gym or something.

Unless you're over 21 and have some mad cash, there isn't much to do.

I mean.

There's bowling and movies for your cheapest entertainment.
Or the swap meet for some cheap shopping.

You could walk the strip.
But.....when you actually live in Vegas, you never actually go there.

However, a few places will give Nevada residents some good deals on various conventions and fairs.
There is always some sort of convention happening here.

When I don't have money to spend on weapons stuff or garb stuff or just stuff, I am always bored as hell. And I have a job and am over 21, actually double over! I don't drink or party so thats out. I love movies, but they are too expensive.

Get multiple hobbies. Go places that you'd like to hang out, meet people you like, hang out at their house and do nothin' together. Oh, recruit for Dagorhir while your at it.

What about gaming. I think there's game shops around that might have posting for game groups. Also www.lvwargamers.org is the website for the local wargaming group. No fee's to join. I love wargaming, and am registered on their website, but never been able to go play I'm sure there are other groups around. Do a websearch for LV clubs on Yahoo groups or something.

What about church?

Back in my day, I liked to go out into the desert and go target shooting. I liked paintball with my friends too (no teams and no indoor places) Of course I had one of those Job things and cash to spend. Its tuff when you don't have those going yet. Keep looking and don't give up.

We had a fella, sunshine, that was here from Indiana. He was Dag too. he spent I think it was a month looking for a job, then gave up and went back home. Try the casinos and walmarts. You should be able to get something. Keep at it. We don't want to loose you too.

As for other things to do, hopefully the younger ones amongst us will have more answers for you. If you all get together and go do something crazy because you're bored. Just remember. Don't call Konradr cuz konradr only gets $40 from his wife for allowance and that ain't enough to bail anyone out of the hoosegow.

Take up a hobby like Magic The Gathering? =D I love MTG, mostly for duels and stuff, there is a card shop like every 5 blocks in vegas with events

I'd say pick up an MMORPG hobby, thats what I did, but I found it was sucking all my time. =/

i play perfect world....but i can only do so much of that a day. i also play Gmod and Counter strike if anyone is interested in playing.

i play perfect world....but i can only do so much of that a day. i also play Gmod and Counter strike if anyone is interested in playing.

I have been lookin to pick up an MMO hobby again, but there are so many, and with my programming classes and getting my degree I'd rather be learning how to program games and stuff, than beat them ;D

You could always chill at a book store like Barnes and Noble or somethin and read anime manga or books for a few hours, bring a laptop and chill =D

DnD sounds cool. I never really played. I've played wargames and a few other RPG's but mostly wargames.

The odd activity is probably something we all do secretly but dont' tell the others that we do it cause its embarassing, then someone will come out and say what it is and we'll be like "OMG ME TOO!!! I LOVE -whatever it is-"

Well, we live in Vegas.
There's a plethora of stores that carry...uhh....you know.
And if you're really immature,
it's fun to go in there and just look at the crazy things.
And the gag gifts are funny too. :3
But obviously, 18+.
