The Khukri is a heavy single bladed dagger or fighting knife with a thick downward curving blade. It's said a Ghurka soldier can chop off a head with a strong strike of his Khukri. the ancestor of the Khukri is debated as being the 'Eygptian Kopesh', 'Greek Kopis' or 'Nepalese kora' (See picture below) The Kora looks pretty impressive.
