whats the average age for everyone at this event

also i see that is a very tight nit group from just looking around and it looks like alot of adults and by adults i mean 18 and up leading up
to my next question whats the joining age for this group im currently 14 a very mature 14 i believe and i turn 15 next month and well it seems kinda ackward
walking up to a new group with never seen before people and saying hello may i bash your skull in with the hilt of my long sword sorry if

whats the amount of people that show up every saturday at noon

and have you ever thought of going up to one of the fields in mount charlston i have seen a large scale battle up there its really nice weather, do you ever have any large scale battles 10 vs 10 and such i saw that you hosted that one roaming relm event

we mostly have younger ppl in thten variaty and early 20 um im pretty sure you can join you need a waiver signed and noterized by your parent or gaurdin.

feel free to pop down and come spar with us tho we usually have a good turn out last week i belive we had over 20 ppl there.

um we are a pretty close realm we are gunna host a pretty big event were there will be much more than 10 v.10.you should come down before that tho we always like meeting new ppl

Print off a copy of the waiver from www.dagorhir.com and have your parents notorize it. Also, its imperative that at least one of your parents come to practice at least the first time you come out, watch what we do, and tell Me, Surt or Smithy that it is okay for you to participate. This is important. We are not a 'gaming' LARP such as Nero or Amtgard. The group you saw in the mountains might have been NERO. Then again, if they were armored and hitting with sticks, it would have been the SCA. I was once a part of the SCA group here in Las Vegas.

The official age for Dagorhir events is 16 ; however, at the realm level we can let younger people play if they are mature enough for a full contact martial art, and if their parents meet us in person and say its okay. Most of the younger players are related in some way to other fighters and thus their parents are okay with it and we are okay as long as who they are related to is there.

We have a variety of weapons in use on the field, swords, axes, maces, flails, spears, glaives, javelins and archers with padded arrows. We do not; however, hit anyone with the hilt or pommel of their weapon.

As Sasquatch said, come out (with your parents at least to watch and speak to one of us, even if they leave) we'll pair you off with someone to learn the rules and do some one on one sparring, and then we'll see about throwing you into a melee.

Yes, we've been planning a weekend campout at Mount charleston, maybe in the summer or fall.

We average about 20 people a practice but have had times of 30 up to 50 when we had a visiting realm from Utah come out. In April we will be hosting Fool's raid and may have as many as 75 to 100 fighters. You could be one of them.

We are a medieval group. Though no one would expect you to have medieval looking garb on your first few times out, you should at least wear plain clothes, ie t-shirts or sweats with no logos. There is a downloadable handbook on the dagorhir website. Peruse it and learn about us, then come out and fight with us.

yea about the hilt pommeling totaly a joke i think i got the basics down with the body hit counts like 1 shot to the legs is then on your knee
then up top and their dead and about the fighting i think ill be alritght ever since i was like 6 i had this wood claymore that i would play with for hours in the backyard(weirdo) till i was like 9 then the guard came of and it broke
and that event is in the month of my birthday yay
