Anxious Neighbors to the North...

Fellow citizens of Barad'Dun. Spies have come from the NorthEast with a warning. Our friendly neighbors in An Tir Dearg may not be so friendly after all. Inactivity is causing them to get the itch for a fight. There is talk in their camp about raiding the nearest plump target, and that would be us! My proposition is that we do a preemptive raid on them! A Saturday either noon (their time) or maybe a nighttime affair to avoid the heat.

Anyone interested in a Saturday visit to An Tir Dearg for some Foam shenanigans? If enough of you want to make a trip, I will scout the possibilities.

I'm thinking Saturday July 10th. It's a full tank of gas there and back for both my Jeep and Van, whichever I can take. Probably 3/4's a tank for a small car like Striders and Demies (?).

We could go our normal practice time and deal with the heat. 12 noon their time would be 11 our time and its a 2 hour drive so we'd have to leave like 9am.

We could try to beat the heat in one of two ways.

A. Play early in the morning. Like 8 or 9 am their time which means we would have to leave like 4 or 5 am our time.

B. Play late. Their normal practices are at 7pm and they have lights they string up at the park. We could do that which is 6pm our time so we would leave like 4pm. We would be in town for normal Realm practice at 12 noon. Should we opt for the night, Several have offered to let us crash at their place for the night. Tiberius said we could camp out in his backyard. However, I can't, I would have to be home before 2 am.

If no one else can make the trip besides me, Demie and Phoxly we can wait for them to come to us, or for the fall Border War.

My brother would like to go. So would I. But I won't know until the 28th (next week) if I can or not due to my being sworn into the military the first or second week of July. I'll know on the 28th/29th whether or not I can.

I'm sure that Smithy would like to go to. I'll ask him tonight or Monday after he's back from drill.
