Shield idea

So, I'm making Whisper a back shield, and I was wondering...

Would it be legal to have things hanging off of the sides of it?

Nothing terribly dangerous.

Just a fabric strap or two hanging off of the side edges of it.

Tangle Issues....

Depends on how long it is... 4" isn't a tangle issue.

theres really no rules directly stating anything against it. i wouldn't worry about entanglement unless there obscenely long which i doubt they will be. there is a rule for weapons that cloth cant hang off a weapon due to eye injury risk. dunno the exact rule number though. i shield is treated as a non striking weapon but you shouldn't have any problems with it. i say go for it.

I actually had a solution for the tangling issue.

Velcro. :]

What I had in mind was actually that the shield would be in the shape of a spider's body. Then, I'd have eight straps attached to the cover that would reach around and velcro in the front, making it look like a sort of spider-piggyback ride.

And a punch handle, just in case.
