| The latest Rules state this....
4.1.11.10 - Disallowed weapons include but are not limited to: Nets, lassos, pungee sticks, nunchucks, tonfas, double-ended daggers, punch daggers.
What is the definition of a "Punch dagger"? I have made several green only daggers, but what is the difference? Is a punch dagger like a very short dagger, something fist sized???

| A punch dagger is a weapon that deals damage with a punching motion. Similar to a Katar.

| That's kinda what I figured, but since I've been making a bunch of "Green" only daggers, I wanted to make sure cuz normally people call Green only daggers, 'Punch' daggers. These pics show Katar's and how they are made to be used with a "punch" technique of the hand: Konradr | |

| Sharpened Bamboo stick, usually hidden. Its basically a jungle Trap.
Interesting fact; they were smeared with Poo to cause crippling infections on those trapped.
Enjoy! | |

| The most harmful part about the trap was two fold. The hole was only about 18 to 24 inches deep with an angled bottom to roll the ankle of the victim. The points of the bamboo tubes which were set along the wall of the hole were splintered (possibly even barbed) slightly so they would open the wound and allow blood to flow more freely. Couple that nasty trap with the fact that you just stepped into it way out in BFE and disentary (spelled right?) becomes a major concern. I got in a little trouble when I made a few during a training exercise. Minus the poo of course. | |
