Goin' Shootin'

Hey, next Saturday my buddy and I from work are going to go shooting. I promised him awhile back and so we made a date.

Its been a looooooong time since I went shooting. I like shooting out in the desert but back when I use to go shooting alot you could shoot anywhere. Now most of the area around town is built up or off limits. Anyone know a good shooting location and post a map and directions???

There is an outdoor range on Charleston on the way to Redrock Canyon.

I believe people shoot regularly at our location for WoR this year

Yeah, I don't really want to shoot at a range. I will police up my brass though. I know people were shooting at the W.O.R. location due to all the shotgun shells lying around. Always an indication of a shooting site. But that's a little far to drive to go plinking. Might be somewhere in between available, but I think most shooters go towards nye county. I will have to ask around.

Anyone know of a .99 cent store still selling those 6" plastic army men? A week isn't enough time to collect fun targets like glass bottles, can's, jugs of food coloring tinted water. Maybe cardboard with profiles drawn on them, etc, etc, etc,
