Won't be on the boards much over the next few days as I will be spending my time with my family for the holidays. Just wanted to wish everyone a merry christmas and happy new year. See you all in 2010!

'Twas the night before practice, and all through the field,
not a fighter was stirring, not a sword, axe, or shield.
The garb was folded in the garb box with care,
in hopes that those underdressed had something to wear.

The loaners were nestled all snug in their bag,
their heads filled with dreams about Ren Fair and Rag.
With Surt in no armor and I in no vest,
we skipped one practice for a Holiday rest.

The bows went unstrung and arrows stowed away,
the fighters waited for a non-family day,
to pack up and head to the park for a fight,
but for now, Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night.

You did well last Saturday, young Dwarf, both in the Tournament and in the dagger fighting. I'm trying to think of an appropriate nickname. Let me see. 'Shieldbreaker' or 'Shieldkneeer' or maybe just 'CRAAACK!"

Phew! today has been along day. Wait til you guys have kids, you'll see what its like on the otherside of Christmas.
