Sunday 27th

Wow, Friday was the longest day ever, I'm still tired. I need to excercise, that holiday food went to my stomach and decided to stay.

Anyhow, plans change. Today was suppose to be our family day at the park, BBQ etc. But it was my wife's older brother's birthday and we all went to Asia buffet. So besides the holiday food, I have asian food hanging out around my gut. *sigh*. So that means our family BBQ will be tomorrow at Sunset park (Eastern and Sunset, behind the Volleyball courts is where we usually go so the kids can play at the playground. If we're not there we might be on the back side by the dog park where they have other playgroudns)

Sunday I had invited Oddvar over to play some boardgames and just hang out, but I've had to change that due to the family park day. So I told him to come out to the park and hang out with us there. Nothing fancy, probably hot dogs or something simple (Yeah, we're broke) and my wife's two brothers and their wives and kids will be there. Anyhow, last time we went me and romeo brought some shields and swords and sparred, so we'll do the same this time. I'm gonna bring some boardgames too and the lacrosse and cricket and soccer ball. So if anyone is in the area don't be shy and drop by if you want, spar, eat, play a wargame/boardgame, kickball, whatever. 11:00am (ish) to whenever.

Well it was fun. We played dagorhir with my brother in laws plus me, romeo, taylor and my daughter Hana. But it wasn't purely dagorhir, it was more like Bowker dagorhir as my older brother in law was kind of excited and was doing his Kali/arnis/escrima/anime thing. He kept trying to slash our throats, and had some trouble taking his hits, but he was just new to it and having fun, not really a rhino. We had free for alls, zombie, dagger fights and capture the flag, and then we were all to worn out for kickball,soccer, lacrosse or cricket.

Anyways, hope some of y'all can make the next bowker family outing, whenever it may be. All are welcome.
