Practice Saturday, January 16th (12 noon)

We will be practicing at our usual location in Desert Breeze Park at 12 noon.

Please bring drinks or ice chests if you are able to. If not other members usually have enough to share.

For any new members joining us, the practice location is off the corner of Durango and Twain on the Southwest corner of the park. If you turn in off of twain you will see a parking lot on your left with a children's playground behind it. We are usually able to get one of the gazebos off the playground. Loaner weapons and shields will be available for anyone not currently owning equipment of their own.

Hey, besides making a 'poll' when you create a topic, you can also add it to the calender and anyone looking at the calender will see it. So we can do that for every practice announcement and events, etc.

i'm going to be in l.a. this weekend attending some acting workshops. i hate missing practice!

I don't know if I will be there or not. Some things have come up with my dad and he is kind of depressed and stressed out over some financial problems since my mom got laid off work and we have no health insurance now. We'll see what he's doing around noon. I might show up late. Sorry guys.

Battle scar of the day...

The Squatch elbowed me twice today in the face. The first time he cracked me right in the forehead while on my team and sidestepping an opponent. The second was our first three man bridge where he was on the opposing team and jumped into us with his shield. When he came down his elbow cracked me in the face again and I basically fell over the bridge line.

The battle scar of the century however is that there's literally a white mark across my forehead where he hit me both times...he knocked the tan off my forehead. I'm not kidding. He knocked the black off as mom said...lol Yes. It's possible. It's happened before. It's a 'light graze' of the skin as mom said where you can take the top layer off. That's EXACTLY what Squatch did to my face. lol You bastard.. All worth it though after seeing you in a kilt and sporran.
