Promotional video!!!

hey there wanted to ask cause i'm having a hard time deciding on what to use for the promotional video.

those are the two that i thought of but I'm not sure how everyone feels about it. i wanna make this vid F-in Epic FTW Epic. also i don't have any video film of you guys actually fighting. i would like to get as close as possible still have yet to figure how that's gonna work. I've just gotten a video program to mash it all together we'll see how that goes. but what i was thinking is maybe this practice or at the althing if someone is willing to let me use a video camera i have one but like i said it is really old so it would take me awhile for me to find the right program for it to put it on the computer to mess with it. but anyway have a couple people that have actual video camera help me on shooting in a couple different angles that way we have shots from all sides. and I'll shoot some fighting but only in the condition that EVERYONE WEARS some sort of garb as long as it's pretty close to period material. no logo'd tee shirts preferably no jeans either every one has to have at least a a pair of pajama pants and if anyone has garb that they are willing to lone for a day. in helping with demi if she could bring the loner garb. but what i was thinking is that i could bring whatever music that is chosen. with a radio of some sort and play it and i want you guys to fight to the music. maybe i don't know let me know if you guys have any tips especially surt and konrad. please thankies....

I like disturbed myself... i guess you posted a pic but i never seem to get your pics when you post them but i like the mash up idea for sure and i think it will be great project for the realm...definently have people garbed up..and a sound track to kickin ass is always a great idea

Yes, everyone bring garb. I have some, if its dried out. The shed got wet when it rained so much and my stuff got wet.

Those digital camera's everyone has take some nice video. My video camera does but I have to charge up the battery, get a new tape and then see if I can find the cable to download to the computer. I have alot going on this week, but I will see if I can find it.

Here's a promtional video for Amtgard. Not the best video, but some points have merit. I like the different musical themes throughout. The fighting is good, but video should have been better. This is for Amt as a whole not a local realm whereas we will be doing 'the Realm' with bits of overall dag thrown in.

Smithy wants to conduct some on camera interviews to be added into the promotional videos. Everyone in garb and in character of course.

What are some suggestions as to interview questions that might be asked pertaining to the Realm, the people of the realm, and the fighting or the hobby in general?

That's a cool promotional video.

I loved the monster vs human theme, the standoff between the armies, the gladiator theme.

I didn't like the intial clash in that too many people slideslipped shields rather than having a good bash. The fighting too was way to choreographed. It should have been real fighting, edited to make the story line work.

I have access to some really good camera equiptment as I work in the Audio/Visual industry. Just tell me the date so I can get the gear like 2 days prior to let the operator/s get used to it.
