Sacrafices made for Dagorhir

I was getting a start on my new shield today and while cutting the cardboard, with a hunting knife, i actually cleaved into my left hand middle finger all the way into the knuckle.

I literately put sweat and blood into this shield.

What has Barad'Dun done for the sake of Dagorhir?

Thank God it wasn't a plywood core and a power saw. I've done my fair share of cuts, and bruises while making weapons and practicing. Beware practicing on a tree with a steel pipe. Rebounds can happen.

it still there. the knife just went all the way through the skin. Thick gnome knuckles though, us inventors are always smashing, cutting, burning, and or otherwise mutilating our digits.

See, the sacrifices I've made are mainly my time. I've given up some field trips and family time.

But I'd rather spend my time at Dagorhir.

I was changing out the band-aid and the skin peeled with it, revealing to me all skin layers and the pearl of a bone, and all I could do is laugh......

Same thing almost happened to me. When i was trimming down the my hammer i sliced my thumb + finger. it was a quick slash so it wasn't bad, but with work the next day it was a PAIN DX

No. We gnomes can handle the task of being our own medics. Just opened up mah super glue and put it back together. Im not about to pay some Dicktor hundreds of dollars for beeing a human seamstress. i gots my own thread and needle
