It looks like it is essentially a very long T-Tunic. They are fairly easy to make, but if you want something like that, you will need a lot of fabric. Hollister made a t-tunic for himself that came to crotch level and used a yard and a half of fabric.
To figure out how much fabric you would need, you measure from your adams apple to the area you want the robe to stop, and then double it. that should give you an approximate length to buy, if you get 60" wide fabric. If its narrower, you will probably need more to account for the sleeves. Unless you decide to go for a sleeveless version - and in the heat here, that might be a better option.
