Big time publicity for Barad'Dun?

So, my public speaking professor held me back in class today.

Apparently, he loved my speech on Dagorhir so much,
he wants to enter it in a speech contest where I'd get to give the speech in front of a large portion of the campus community.

Any demo's during the speech?

We could have a couple of us on one side of the room and a couple on the other that start a debate about your speech and end up charging across the front of the audience and doing battle.

Maybe a foam weapon to wave around valiantly while you give your speech?

Hmmm, does a shield wall standing in line behind you or in front of the first row count as a visual aid if we don't do or say anything except Huzzah when you are done????

P.S. Here's a copy of the flyers I have made. Surt said they are good to go, so as soon as I can get some printed, I will make sure you have some laying around for anyone to peruse after your speech. No, we won't paste them up and make them a visual aid, but below the flyer pic is the poster I made up for just such an occaision.

I got some new info.

1. I am definately in the contest. Got the paperwork this morning.

2. The event is open to the public. Saturday 21 at noon. x[ I'll have to miss practice.

3. I can probably get a video of the speech. :3

You could give your speech again at Althing if you want, on the 29th. Then we can have lots of visual aids and video made too. he he.
