Black Lions Practice April 19 2011

practice at 5:00 - we get tired!. we've actually been going earlier cause it's getting warmer and we want to beat the football/baseball crowd but please continue to bring things to keep yourself warm just in case. it's been hoodie weather lately and the weather looks great for this week! SINCE IT IS GETTING HOTTER bring water! if you don't bring water! you're not fighting! If you have the space make sure to practice at home! all black lions try to make it if anyone needs a ride get a hold of me and taco ASAP no exceptions. everyone is invited to come. we usually go to jack in the box afterwards.

For any new members joining us, the practice location is off the corner of Durango and Twain on the Southwest corner of the park. If you turn in off of twain you will see a parking lot on your left with a children's playground behind it. We are usually able to get one of the gazebos off the playground. bring your weapons we are no longer be bringing loner weapons.. you should all have one by now! if you have any questions need any help contact either taco or kitty. we will help you with materials for weapons get you set up ASAP..

I am looking for a group and Realm to join up with out here. I had to leave my gear back in Indiana for various reasons however so I would be back to having to ask for a Loaner at the practice. I can do my best to come up with one of the Honkin big water jugs to use for Community in Recompense however.

thats a fair reason to need a loaner. im sure we will have spare equipment or be able to trade off. hope to see ya out

BLACK LION PRACTICE TOMORROW GUYS we have 2 extra seats anyone need a ride please ask and let us know before midnight tonight! otherwise forget it... new black lion rule it's getting hot outside and Saturday we relied on what konradr had for water that's not fair it's not the realm job to take care of us all the time we need to man up and start doing some things ourself... so if you do not have a water bottle tomorrow! you are NOT fighting! bring water for yourself! we want you guys to get in the habit of bringing your own water so when something like last week happens.. we will be fine!

that's not the point Alyssa we appreciate the help i know i do!... but if they don't have means of water THEY ARE NOT FIGHTING! they might be rare but one thing we don't need is people having heat exhaustion on days you're not here. and all in all we are all adults here and should know how to take care of ourself and not have to rely on others all the time... my point.... if you have no means of water Saturday or Tuesday and you are in this unit.. you are not fighting!!... we want you guys to get in the habit of hydrating yourself OFTEN especially in this weather!... so thank you Alyssa.. everyone thank her for her hard work.. but still it's our own job to stay hydrated. so heed this word black lions don't mean this to be rude or anything we don't want anyone hurting, passing out, ect in this weather.. there are no exceptions in this weather to not have water.

EDIT: and people who dont have money for 1.00 water it's their job to have their own!

I didn't have a single drink of water on Saturday, and due to errands I had to run I couldn't stop and get bottled water for the group like I promised. I'll probably bring some jugs if people bring a water bottle they can fill it up. It's cheaper than having people grab a 16oz bottle of water, drink half of it, and forget which one is theirs and grab another.

If I bring water bottles, I'll be bringing a sharpie for people to mark their bottles.

another thing that will help the mess is if we bring our own... we know who's is who's and they can be accountable

never said it was an argument don't put that word into the issue cause i'm not arguing with you i'm explaining as you are. you're drawing away from what i'm saying again alyssa.. we know you guys bring water but we are adults these are the rules we are setting!!... you can't say that there is always water cause there wasn't last week. and yeah it might be rare but it still happened. and in this water we don't want any risks happening so i'm putting it across that its not always your guys jobs to take care of something that is SERIOUSLY simple. and i stated that i appreciated what you've been doing and how you've helped. but you're pulling away from what we are saying... in this unit if they have no means of water they are not fighting.. period... we see that you bring water! i see that so does everyone else. that's not what i'm talking about i'm talking about people being responsible for making sure they are hydrated! that's it. which means i don't know why you posted that you bring bottles?.... cause that's not what we're talking about. i see what you've done i appreciate what you've done but.... what i am saying!... no water they are not fighting whether the bottle is from you or brought from their own home if they don't have water they are not fighting that is what i'm saying!.

so guys keep in mind that alyssa does bring water but i want us to get in the habit of bringing our own. but we appreciate what she has done for us!
