dumb question from a n00b =P

I'm looking to get back into Dag, I haven't played in over 9years, since then I've done SCA and NERO, given the chapter's name here? for rp and characters am I to assume that everyone here is a badguy in service to Sauron in some fashion or form?

thanks for any info...I have a ton of costuming and weapons making experience under my belt....I'm just unaqquainted with the las vegas chapter=P

Dagorhir is a combat oriented LARP, the RP aspect is much more subtle compared to other "role play" groups. Backstories can be as unique as you are, when you get on the field it won't make much of a difference what race or class you are, just pick up some foam and have fun. Portraying a character just makes it more interesting

It's great you have lots of garb/costume experience and weapon building experience is a plus. It will be easy to adapt to the building standards and play style of Dagorhir again.

Actually, in reference to our name...
Barad'Dun is literally the Western tower. The tower for Sauron is Barad'dur, the black tower.

For garb ideas think crusades in Jerusalem. Its hot and we fight. I follow a more european standpoint when it comes to clothes but hey dress how you want as long it fits you, keeps you cool in the summer and warm in the winter.
