Post a bruise share the story!!

i wanna see some bad ass battle scars! lol not scars but bruises! lol just cause i'm bored think it would be funny!

Where do I start... I know! I'll start with Prysm!

So we are playing daggers, I am wielding a sword & board, and I somehow just totally broke free in the center. There was no one close, and so I head for the dagger, which was defended by this tiny redhead clutching a spear.

Hehe, so I'm thinking "I got this", just kinda walk up to her, right, and then I figure I'll just knock her spear to the side with my shield, step right, tag her back, and then strut off with ye olde dagger.

However, I forgot something, didn't notice another thing, and screwed up on something else;

#1 : I forgot that Izzy said that Prysm would take only light hits.

#2: I failed to notice that the little redhead was also holding a dagger, as well as the spear.

#3: And, somewhere along the line, I must have been holding my sword wrong.

So these three 'lil mistakes resulted in the entire sequence of events working out totally different from what I had originally envisioned.

Now, using my shield to knock away the spear worked like clockwork. Check.

My lunge to the right to give the obnoxious spearwoman a swat to the back, not so much. This was where everything went wrong. First off, the little redhead abandoned her spear and just thrust forward a bit with her dagger, so while my lunge actually resulted in me impaling myself.

My poor grip resulted in my swing, already in motion as part of the lunge, giving the brave spearwoman a resounding strike to the back - with the flat-of-the-blade. At which point she cried out in pain, and I went from stunned confusion (turns out even my incredibly poor perceptive powers can detect a dagger sticking in my solar plexis), to absolute horror when I realized I had hurt my target.

It was about that time I remembered Izzy saying something about someone taking light hits only....

Fortunately, no one was seriously hurt. Though I did feel like an @$$ for about a week. Or two.

So, that is my first bruise story. I know I was the culprit in that one, but, hey! It's a story I won't forget.

So, once again we are playing daggers.

Once again, somehow I break free in the center. Only this time I'm with a troupe of 3 peeps, I think. Once again I'm wielding sword & board.

Anywho, I was bringing up the rear during a push to steal the other team's dagger - and we punch through! The only two active defenders at this point was Izzy using Florentine, and Strider with a sword & board. My first two partners (sorry, can't remember who) engage Strider, and I confront Izzy.

While I am trying to figure out a safe way of not getting killed by a redhead (some hesitation due to flashbacks of the above story), Strider kills one of his foes, but get gimped in the leg. My other partner left Strider gimped and flanked Izzy, and we both pressed the attack.

Now this part is fuzzy... I think Izzy killed my partner, but I killed her. Either that or she gimped my partner, and Strider killed him. Whatever, completely unimportant at this point.

All that matters is; THE DAGGER IS MINE! MWAHAHAHA

With Izzy dead I threw my sword away, and snatched up the dagger. I turned, but lo! A persistent Strider was lunging for the kill!

But it was for naught! Because I practically threw my shield at the attacking blade, leaping past the gimped Strider, and darting towards the other end of the field.

What skill!
What daring!
What amazing agility?

Notice the (?) after agility. That was because that was a question, not a declaration of ability. About four strides away from Strider (heh... there is a pun there somewhere) I suffered my first ever (noob) garb malfunction, as my feet picked that moment to step on my overly-long pajama pants, which sent me stumbling.

But not to worry! I regained my balance, and didn't pitch forward (and, thus, avoided a very ignoble face-plant)!

Unfortunately, right after I regained a second of equilibrium, I lost my balance again, because (as it turns out), I am not very nimble at all.

And fell, quite ignobly and painfully, straight down on my tail-bone.

That hurt. For the better part of a week, I had a physical reminder of what was almost a truly glorious moment in my Dagohir career.

Instead of glory, I spent about a week feeling like a dum@$$.

That is my second bruise story....

I technically didn't get this from Saturday, But you guys beating the crud out of it with your swords wasnt helping XD. I actually got this from playing a video game at new Orleans casino, was a horse racing one where you shake the hell out of the horse, while sitting on it, to make it move. I got really dizzy from lack of eating and fell off. got this the night before.



that scratch bruise thing is i assuming when I fell and got beated to death with swords which happened on multiple occasions.

And finally this retarded tan on my feet from my damn shoes! D:<

I have a 3 inch bruise down the front of my kneecap from Jingle's sword. No clue how it gave me such a monstrous bruise, since the sword passes lol. First bruise I've got in a long time, and it was from a girl.

I got a head shot yesterday and the scars didn't appear until I was home, now I'll probably have these marks on my head for a few weeks xD

None of my injuries leave bruises. I got a shield edge to the jaw, which (if I try) still hurts. I got two, three? bloody noses now. Um... Oh, Donny and I exchanged hand hits, not sure how, which left my thumb bleeding. No scar, though.

Top left shoulder looks like a core halfed me and left a pretty gnarly scar XD

wow daniell that first picture looked painful!!! these are fantastic lol. i mean not like yay you got hurt but like you know scars they show character right lol... i have a tooth that was split in half YEARS ago from someone who gave me a chopping blow to the head. a sprained ankle from playing in the snow in Utah and multiple bruises just thanks to taco lol.. and phoxly you got your A$$ kicked!
