I'm really old school, but I like soundtracks and nothing is better than some of the oldies like "conan the barbarian" come on, the 'riddle of steel' should be the begining of any sword fight. 'Battle at the mounds' is good for any small group taking on a larger one. Terminator is pretty good. Gladiator is good. LOTR is pretty good. Especially the second one. I burned all three but the last one I can't get to play on my Quest car's CD player. Hmmm, well, here's really old school but one I love for any combat and that is, ready....here it comes....really......."For a few dollars more" or any of Clint Eastwoods spaghetti westerns. hahaha. Love those. Just make you want to get out there with a sword and take a few hombre's after some serious eye starin' at one another.
However, DMX "X gonna give it to ya" ain't bad too, not too mention "party up in here" and "Ruff Ryder's anthem" (sorry Kurn, I know your ears ached at the thought of those) Ooooh, For a rock fighting song how about "man in the box" by Alice n chains. Or then there's those Bon Jovi songs from the 80's. Damn, I'm ramblin.
Anyhow, I love soundtracks and I just downloaded some music by "two steps from Hell" a group that makes soundtrack music for video games and stuff. I heard some of there music on that aggelgorod video they have on youtube and downloaded some. I want to burn some CD's and get a boombox so we can have theme music days at fighter practice.

My Brit. Lit. teacher today played this song in class. I'm currently trying to find other songs that have heavy emphasis on drums. I think that songs with strong emphasis on drums hype up people, especially to fight.
I particularly like this one... not because it's from TF2. Download link
Keeps with the drum theme.
exactly what I was looking for. Now to find it in higher quality/download versions :/

Huzzah! Some of the best melodic powermetal songs you will ever hear, all by Luca Turilli.
I know this one isn't purely Luca Turilli but he was the guitarist for the band Rhapsody of Fire before he went solo.
-Rhapsody Of Fire - Lord Of Thunder
-Luca Turilli - Legend Of Steel
-Luca Turilli - Mystic And Divine
-Luca Turilli - Lord Of The Winter Snow
-Luca Turilli - War Of The Universe
-Luca Turilli The Ancient Forest Of Elves
Luca has quite the varied number of selections. And there's a song for no matter what mood you're in. He an Italian guitarist, pianist, and composer, and he's one of my favorites.

Hrmmm I like fighting to bands like Haste the Day, Sick Puppies, Mudvayne, and other alternative/metal style bands, as long as they are fast paced, have a good drum line, great lyrics, and no screaming for more than 5 seconds, its all good.

Rock wise I prefer (Southern& Celtic rock included):
Tom Petty. Hendrix. Eric Clapton. Foreigner. Bob Seger. Wilson Pickett. Lynard Skynard. Queen. Joan Jett. Flogging Molly. Unorthodox Celts. Earl Greyhound. Ram Jam.
...among many others.
