January Althing is Sunday the 31st

Spring Valley park. Same locale as last time. Hopefully the weather will be better. The werewolves will be prowling (just ask Kilanos). Mayhap, a Dragonslayer may venture into the cave of SKarl, the black dragon of Doom.

I know how you feel Akeria, but alot of the kids live near desert Breeze park and Spring Valley park and can actually walk there. If it were further out alot of them couldn't make it as they would have no transportation. Not all parents are transport friendly. Secondly, Spring Valley park is a very nice park, quiet, in a good neighborhood and clean and well maintained. Alot of parks aren't. Especially over here in the east. There are some nice new parks in Henderson, but they are further away.

Thanks to one and all who came to Althing. I enjoyed it, the food and your great company. Werewolves were to be had and unfortunately one whole village fell to them. Thanks Kilanos for the damned awful dice rolls you willed upon me. Thanks Taco for the sparring. I'm sure you took it easy on our Jav grapple. Its the only way I can figure that I won. The Oathing ceremony was great. I hope to do many more as you guys advance. Thank you to Oddvar's family for the grilled delights.

Unfortunately the night did not end well for me. Apparently my Jeep's power steering unit blew a ball bearing and the darn thing is rattling something fierce. Hopefully it will last awhile til I have money to replace it. This shouldn't have an effect on our trip to St. George. I still want to go so as long as the Jeep hangs in there I will make it.

We're not taking the Jeep Alyssa, we're taking the van. My wife will have to drive the jeep to work that day.

Oddvar's brother in law said if it seizes up I could cut the belt. That would make it manual steering. I don't have a problem with that but I don't know if my wife could steer it in manual. I love my jeep, but it may be nearing the end of its use. I hate the new jeeps.
