| Hey gang, I got some bad news. Yesterday my unit called and asked for volunteers to go to Haiti for six months.
I said, "I'm in."
I head out on Sunday so I'm gonna miss practice. I should be able to cobble up some sort of internet when I get there and be on the boards when I can.
Just know this. SMITHY WILL RETURN!!

I'll miss you, hun. Good luck nonetheless and thank you for what you're doing. Perhaps when you do get back you'll be around long enough to get your life together here at home. Or so I hope.
