Looking for information

I currently am in Michigan, but possibly moving out to Las Vegas in the near future.

Was wondering a couple things, (to help ease the idea of moving)...

I notcied that your chapter tends to practice on saturdays, (as i noticed trolling your forum). Is this still pretty typical?

And was wondering if any of your folks made it to Rag this year??? I know it had to be a logistical nightmare.

Barad'Dun is pretty tight knit and open group, and yes we do practice on Saturday's, most Dag/Bel practices I have read about on forums (there is a poll somewhere where they tally them all up) practice on Saturday's, Thursdays, or Tuesdays, but the majority do it on the weekend due to school, work, and other schedules.

We had made plants to go to Rag but it ended up falling out and not enough could do it, so instead we have made pretty much every event within 7 hours of here, and are planning to travel to an event in July. (No chaos though.)

We'd love to have you out, we've had alot of people move here from other realms over the past year so we are more than happy to accomodate new players and old ones who are new to our group.

Right now I am fighting with The Northlands Militia, out of Lansing Michigan...

Not sure if the were planning to work a division or a detachment deal for me... But at least short term Was looking to meet some of the other folks in and abouts your area...

Not exactly sure and of if for sure the move is going to take place...

(God knows i had to get my Dag-ducks in a row before i worry about moving..... thats how you know your hooked...lol)

I did the exact same thing when I moved here a few months back, found the forum, got to know the group, and then lurked the forums for 4 months til I could actually move. It helps alot though, new big City, and insta-friends.

Sounds like me alright...lol...

We do practice every Saturday @ Noon. We have HOT summers so bring some water.

We had a group planning to go out to Rag but it fell through with Real Life obligations taking precedent.

We will definitely be going next year.
