Think i have a rough idea how to make one now. Quick question though. Do you cut open the pool noodle and glue it or just slide it on? also what about pipe insulation does it get glued or just the pre taped ends to hold it onto the pipe?
After i put the Open cell stuff on top do i rap anything around the base of it or dap is good enough?

Dap should be fine. Look up the edhellen arrow tutorial and apply the open cell attachment to your javelin. Yes it just slides on. Put either dap or gorilla glue on the core before you slide it on. The handle portion would be better glued. But, it doesn't have to be.

Hey Kilanos,
Walmart is selling 3 inch diameter 'Poof' balls for $1.00. They are open cell foam and I think they would make great heads for javelins.
