| Hello good people. Recently while looking at event picturesI noticed that they look like some kind of hippy concert rather than a battle. I feel this is due to the decided lack of helmets. Not just at our local events, but in pictures from Dag, Bel, Amtgard, everyones pictures, no matter how big the battle, only have about 2-5% of the people wearing helmets. So I set about making the cheapest helmet OF QUALITY that could be made. Using manufacuring processes learned by my long life of slaving away in metal shops, I put together this design. It's very simple, but it is the base for alot of different helms. This type is $65 dyed in any 2 colors you want. These next ones are the same dome, but with more parts and detailing. This one is $200. it's also sold. It has a wider, hardend middle strap with the nasal shaped and a very hard face guard. Alot of the extra cost if the artwork. This is for a unit of Atlanteans in Florida. They are ordering these in mass as unit helms. This is a flip up visor basinet for a guy in Montana. Sick, I love this one. If anyone has a dream helmet, I can do it. If you want a basic helmet to deck out your self, I got that, too. Thanks FB | |

| What kind of measurements would you need from us Forkbeard? And how much lead time would you need? For instance, say if I were interested in a basic helm and knowing we were both going to be at War of Reckoning in St. George. When would you require payment and how long would it take you to make one to my dimensions, etc.
I love the fancy helmets, but could never afford it. My own helmets are made from min. armor grade leather and not hardenend.

| I have some made now. I can save you one if you're serious. I need to know what color. The black and brown one is just sitting here. Unless your head is over 24" or under 22" it will fit you after you pad it. Hard shell helmets always need to be padded and chinstrapped by the customer. Otherwise they don't fit right. If you want, I can bring it to the event and you can pay me there. Any of you can. Just let me know asap, and don't flake and change you mind. FB

| There are morepics of all of them on my FB page and on my Photobucket page. Forkbeard Rex and ki8ngforkbeard@yahoo.com repectivly. The visor helm is sold, but one like it, without the detailing, would cost $140. FB | |
