Brutus’ weapon’s shop, BestDagStuff, may be on the verge of going out of business. Because of that, he's put a lot of stuff on sale to try to keep things going. If you’re interested in good, quality weapons-making materials, go to the website and check it out. He’s got sales going for square fiberglass cores, ½ inch EVA, and on his weapons “arsenals”. The arsenals are 10 packs of arrow, sword and red/green weapon making kits.

I’ve decided to try marketing some of his stuff and have ordered arsenals of the modular arrowhead kits and short swords (with stabbing tips). I will have those at the Battle of the Ring and Aggelgorod La Crescenta battles on January 9-10, and with luck have more at future west coast events.

I had bought a couple of the arrowhead kits for personal use last Fall and just love them. They were easy to assemble and fly like a dream. I’m looking forward to getting the sword kits as I’ve never had long lasting stabbing tip swords and want to see how these do it.

While I’m trying my hand at marketing these weapons for Brutus and BestDagStuff, I have no problem encouraging you guys as units or chapters to buy direct or to set yourself up as an “Associate” of BestDagStuff too. There’s a lot of folks out here in the West in Dagorhir and other groups who might want these weapons, and I see a sharp growth trend coming in 2010. These new people will need a source of good, reliable weapons, and if nothing else the kits and the online instruction videos that go with them will help teach foam-smithing and best practices.

The good news is that orders this week have gone a long way to helping Brutus meet his goal of selling enough arsenals and materials by mid-January to keep things going. A few more sales could tip the balance in favor of his keeping the business going long-term. So an order from you or your unit or chapter would help a great deal, even if it is only for a single arsenal kit or pack of cores.

I'll definetly consider getting some stuff from there. I made some money this past few days that my parents gave me to "have a good time" in Vegas which really just resulted in me getting kicked out of 4 Casinos, so that money is gonna be dag gear money (:

Cool guys - definitely get your orders in as Brutus needs to move product or close up shop and move on. If you can't afford an arsenal on your own, get together with friends and put a group order in.

And for those who procrastinate, I'll be bringing some of the arrowhead and short sword (with stabbing tips) kits with me when I visit Vegas in Mid-February (Feb 12-14).
