Trip to An Tir Dearg.

Last month Isk went up to Salt Lake City and purchased like 10 coreless shield blanks. (30" rounds) Me, Strider and Templar each bought one. I sent Isk the Cash and am now planning a trip up there to pick those up.

I got Wednesday, January 19th off from work. That's two weeks from now. I will be going then. If anyone else wants to go, let me know.

Wednesday's is when ATD hold their weekly practice. Starting around 6:30ish their time. I plan on leaving around 3 to 3:30pm our time. It's a two hour trip, but they are in the mountain time zone and thus are 1 hour ahead of us. So we should arrive their 5 to 5:30 our time, but 6 to 6:30 theirs.

Its a school night, so I don't plan to stay past 9pm their time. We will leave no later than that. We should then be back home by 10pm our time.

It'll be cold. Where sweats, or long johns. ATD isn't really picky on Garb at practices, but I would say, wear your garb and your colors (Unit tabards) and sash'es. Bring some sweats to change into after fighting, and a blanket. I'll bring a cooler with some drinks, maybe some snacks. I don't intend to stop for chow, only gas at mesquite.

If I take the Jeep, I only have room for three other peeps and some gear on top and in the back. If a few more want to come, maybe I can sweet talk the misses into letting me borrow the van.

I'd totally be down for that if i had that day off. but probably not, seeing as how i'm the graveyard person for the first part of the week. i'll let you know what my schedule is the week of.

Ok. I'm going to take the Van. The van seats 7, but its a tiny Van and their are issues with the doors, etc. You have to climb in through the front passenger door. Anyhow, Me and Romeo are going. These are the people who have expressed an interest in Going.

Heretic, Taco, Akeria, Sasquatch and Strider. That make's 7 and is all I can fit in the van. If you guys are definately going, let me know by Tuesday. I will PM you my cell number. I can then start picking people up around 3 or 3:30 so we can be on our way no later than 4pm.

The van hasn't much room. I'll throw a cooler in it for some ice and soda/water. Everyone just bring what you most want to fight with. I will have the red bag tied to the roof which we can throw blue weapons in. My spear and any long pole arms will have to go along the side, inside the van. Shields will be piled in the back of the Van as best as possible. Don't bring too much, just what you want to fight with and maybe a spare.

Bring whatever you want to eat. I am not planning to stop for chow (No money or time) but I will stop in Mesquite for Gas and the station I usually stop at is next to both a Del Taco and Walmart if anyone wants to get something to go.

Wear your garb. Bring a change of clothes, jacket, or blanket for the return trip in case its cold and your all nasty and sweaty.

I can't take anyone else unless someone brings another car. If we get more interested folks, that would be great. We'll definately be making Realm Challenges so we'll need as many of you as can make the trip.

Money is tight with me. But I'm making the trip anyways so I'm not asking for you to chip in for gas. However, if anyone wants to give me a few bucks anyhow, Then Thank you, it would be very helpful.

well if someone else really wants to go they can have my seat i would love to go just to hang with the st george people cause I LOVE ISK lol take pictures and everything but i know i also don't fight so if anyone is also wanting to go they can have my seat i won't be selfish.. ♥

ok i have a car and i will be able to take 3 people men and kitty will be driveing in a tahoe and it has alot of cargo space, i just need some help with gas!
