Are we going to have an Althing this month?

If I have my facts right its usually the last sunday of every month...? And I cant find anything about one for July in the posts - unless I missed it?

We stopped doing Althing sort of, after people got really busy with real life, and quite a few people already dedicate 2 days a week to Dag. I'd love to have another "Saturday" althing like we did 2 months ago, Taco/Convel/Izzy bbq'd and brought food out and we feasted and fought the War Wolves vs Black Lions fights that day too I think.

I'd love to do it again though Very Happy

I for one would love to move althing to the last Saturday of the month so we would have more people attending. But then. I don't think Dwyna could make those and I'm all for fairness.

IF people can manage to stay later than 5:30 pm, then I can make it to Saturday.

However, I don't know if you all can manage that. Razz

I'm going to speak to Heretic about this. I personaly feel that extending the last Saturday's practice of the month to around 1800 or later wouldn't be a bad idea. We could grab one of the BBQ's and make it an all day sort of thing. I will say it like this plan for it to happen. . . .

The practice wouldn't be canceled. It would simply be both. A practice with food and some time set aside for Unit and individual rankings. Easy as that.

I'm flat broke til next friday. I'm hoping to at least have enough cash to get gas so I can go to practice. I won't be bringing anything for Althing though if you guys are planning to have it. And yes, I've been asking folks if anyone wanted to switch to Saturdays and no one was for it til now.

I've no problem with Althing being the Last Saturday of the month, but lets make a decision and then call it 'Althing' and plan it a few weeks ahead. We can then restart the champion's tourney and bring potluck and have awards and ceremonies.

My understanding is that from now on Althing will be the last Saturday of the month. This means that our next Althing will be on Saturday, August 27th following the regularly scheduled practices.

Im awsome at grilling steaks and burgers and hot dogs!!!....not so much on the chicken since I dun wanna under cook it and kill anyone XD but this would be fracken awsome!!! I would totally be part of this! we have tons of meat at my place I can ask mom if we can take some of it for it, if not sorry >.<;;

oh I can bake stuff tool, I am weary of putting icing and stuff on it though since I make things with cream cheese frosting (slightly allergic to tons of sugar at once) and Im pretty sure dairy doesnt do well in the sun. I can use plain icing and keep a peice uniced for me though.

I'll make my dark chocolate Realm Cakes again! Maybe this time I'll actually get pictures of the art work before it disappears. I'll make a small batch of brownies also for those that can't have a lot of sugar.
