| This is mostly just to help Knubbs/Whoever is in charge, but there are a few details missing on both the Dagorhir and Belegarth announcement thread, as well as the actual website... I've been answering as best I can... 1) Will there be showers? 2) Will there be bathrooms? 3) What are the alcohol rules? 4) What are the rules on fires? 5) What is the feast? 6) What Email should the paypal money be sent to, should they not want to use the paypal API on the weebly site? 7) What field battles will there be? Is the feast included with entry? These are just a couple questions that are not answered yet on the website, and I've been getting PM's and trying to answer questions on the boards for details on them. I know most of the answers, but it should be posted for general knowledge for people who are still debating on going to the event. We need all the sweet pleasantries (like hot showers and campfires) to be noted as allowed so people consider our event. Hopefully we can at least get this information posted to the site/forums/National Boards by one week before the event.... | |

| Here are some of the questions I already asked of Knubbs and gotten answers for:
1. I noticed in the google earth pic of the park it is square and covered in grass. Where are we camping? On the grass or are there designated campsites? In other words is it first come first server or can I actually form a camp with my unit?
Our main camping area is 150ft x 275ft (the soccer field). We will be setting up 25x25ft blocks for every 8 people in a unit or realm. I will have the map complete for the site before this saturday and you will be able to pick since you paid already.
2. Are there toilets?
Yes, we have 2 sets of Permanent toilets on site available to us. They are a next to the pool and Baseball field. We also have showers but you might want to wear trunks or your swimming attire to use. Think gym Showers.
3. Are dogs allowed?
Yes, must be on a leash and of course clean up after them.
4. If designated campsites then they must have BBQ grills or firepits and tables, if not, what are the rules concerning fire? Firerings on grass?
They do not have designated campsites but your areas will allow you setup fires and other such stuff. Fire rules are fairly simple you have to have the fire in a firepit, 18" off the ground. If you plan on having a fire you need a Fire Extinguisher within 15'-20' of the fire.
5. I assume Barad'Dun does not have to provide waivers since we have them on file, if not, then those between the ages of 16 and 17 will have to be notified to get some and get them notorized well before they show up in pahrump.
Wolf will be going to the event. He is a Notary and offered his services. We will have slightly different waivers for this event mainly because of the insurance. People will fill them out at the site were I will keep them on file.
The parking area is directly across the soccer field in the dirt lot. They are allowing you to drive up to the camp spot to offload, then go park.

| The firepit thing would be good to know for those coming up. Are there firepits available at the site? Or should they bring their own? | |

| People need to bring them I believe. I know from what Wolf said he had a fire bowl-thing that had posts and would hang above the ground. Since everything is grass and no dirt spots you can't make a campfire directly unto the ground. | |

| What am I missing? I haven't seen any posts that said feast is a separate fee. Can someone point me to the link where this is stated? I've had friends from another realm say they will skip feast if it is a separate fee as most events include the feast fee in the event fee. The only fee I remember seeing posted anywhere was $20 registration at Troll or $15 preregistration via paypal.

| On the homepage of the weebly site: http://kingtourney.weebly.com/index.htmlHonestly I'm shocked the feast is a separate fee... what does the $20 cover? Me and Demie went over the entire cost of getting this event up and going 3 months ago when no one else was talking about it, and it was no where near $20 a person without a feast... I think someone's priorities are not in order with the money raised for the event. | |

| That Tooka is a question that should have been asked privately as you've brought up a question of integrity. Realm finances are private and are not for the public eye. If you would like to know then an answer can be provided. Just not on a open forum. | |

| I heard we were reserving the spot for next year, on the last day of the event this year. We don't even know if we like this spot yet, and it hasn't been discussed. That money could be used to include the event feast in with the entry fee, and then we have a whole year to come up with money to reserve it again.
I'm not questioning integrity, I'm questioning priority. To me, this is our opener event, and we will likely get a large list of pro's and con's at the end of the event on what can be improved. Our site choice may be one of them, and our feast may be one of them.
$20 for a feast-less event is absurd.
We can discuss this more Saturday, I have event donations as well as Taco and Kitty's pre-reg money we had hoped to give to Knubbs on Tuesday but he did not stop by.

| Not to derail the bickering on this public forum, but daylight savings time goes into effect November 6. So you can all sleep in an extra hour before packing up camp on Sunday. | |

| Update!
We have about 85 tokens done for the tournament. Since the holes are a bit small, we decided to use waterproof twine that is surprisingly durable as the string for the tokens.
Also, Mantra and I are starting to work on the prizes for the class weapon tournaments; Single blue, Florentine, Sword + Board, Red, Green and Archery. The prize will be a secret for now but they will be awesome!
