King's Tourney Promo Video?

I'll be shooting video of King's Tourney off a tripod in between fights I am not in. If anyone ends up with video, or is planning to shoot video, I would like to make a promo video for the event for next year and to remember the good times at the event. If anyone shoots video, I'd love to get ahold of it to include. This will be shot similar to how the combatcon video was shot, only with better focusing (I hope! I hate my auto focus.)

If anyone knows their way around a camera, I'd happily let them carry around my cam and shoot video (as long as you can keep it steady and focus, it's easy!).

I use an Olympus E-PL2 camera.

I commend you on your ambition and the use of a tripod. Too many of the videos I see are tilted, shaky, catch 1/3 of the fighting because they're not centered, and generally look like crap. Please use your tripod as much as possible and don't worry so much about what you'll end up catching, save for focusing on fighting shots. Eventually you'll end up with enough film to glean the good bits out of.

I will also be heralding for an hour and wouldn't mind using your camera while out on the field in conjunction with my duties.

I also wouldn't mind doing some unit/realm pictures around 5pm/5:30pm. We need a new realm event photo. And Warwolves need a unit pic I think.

Or what if we did it earlier in the morning before the fighting starts?
Before everyone messes their garb up?

We'll have to see, since some people are coming in Saturday morning (Izzy/Convel, Konradr, and Dustin).

I won't be wearing my good garb until the Feast... then I'll be fighting in it.

The picture will be before the feast, and while it's still daylight out. If the warwolves want a picture after the feast I can do that, I have flash, and your encampment should be nice and lit up.

I like the short simple style of this promo video. Also of interest in the very last seconds of the video, the funny twist of the hand the dude throwing the javelin uses and the body or pole to pole check the last two are using, presumably for the one guy to pick up and move the other guy out of bounds.
