What about a duel scenario where one person is fully armed with what they want, but the other opponent is armed with only a small shield or with nothing at all or a small dagger. This would force the badly armed participant to attempt to grapple with his opponent, wretch the weapon from his hands, and kill him with it.
I was thinking because often one may be caught in an awkward position (particularly archers), heavily out geared by their opponent, and what usually happens is that the person flees. Normally though there would be no place to flee to, so the only choice is to fight, no matter how out handed you are.
This just popped into my head. Thoughts?
