| I know it wouldn't work for weapons, but is pink acceptable for garb?
It's bright, but not neon.

| If it leans toward the faded red pink then no problem. Bright colours were worn like yellows and oranges, hell even lime green or baby blue. The thing is it was festive wear for parties and the like. Pink would be awsome for dress garb. I can't wait to see what you came up with. | |

| Yeah, I would say no to wearing it to events, but if its period looking, I'd say its cool for local practice and non event events. Wear whatever makes you happy. Just fight hard in it!
I don't know about pink being period. I know cultures that had silk garments, like Asia, the mid east and byzantium had purples and other bright colors. I wouldn't doubt the chinese might not have had pink, maybe a dull pink, not the bright modern style. I might have to do some research and find out.

| >.> Well, in any case, I've decided that pink looks absolutely horrible on me.
It's Whisper's now. And since she won't be going to events for a while, I'll hope that it won't be a problem that it's bright pink.
It's actually the leftover fabric from Stefana's shield, if anyone remembers what color that is.

| I would say that is a very Asian pink. Its more on the Reddish side. Would be a nice kimono or one of those tourist pillows with a dragon embroidered on it. Period? I don't know, but like I said, its okay for the local scene.

It is just going to end up as a vest, possibly with whatever Whisper chooses as her symbol on it.
