Two teams: Red and Blue
At least 1 herald.

The game is timed and is played in 5 alternating rounds for each team. The team with the most points at the end of all 5 rounds wins.

There are two Home bases, one for the red team and one for the blue team. There are 3 Objectives within the field of play numbered as in the diagram below:

The home base consists of a cone. The objectives can be circle's of rope or can be anything, a bridge, a ravine, a room, a obstacle like the center of a lava field, denoted by ropes or cones.

Each round is timed, not sure what would be a good time, lets say, for starters, we'll try 2 minutes. The herald will start the time when lay on is called.

One team is the flag team. They start with the flag at their home base. In that 2 minutes they must get the flag to each objective, in order, and then to the enemy team's home base and touch their home cone.

Only the team with the flag can enter objectives. All objectives are safe zones, a person can not be killed or attacked in anyway while inside.

When the flag team enters an objective with the flag, the flag bearer raises the flag and the herald awards the team one point. The flag team can only earn one point per objective even if they enter that objective multiple times. If the flag team touches the opposing teams home cone with the flag, they get 2 points.

If the flag bearer is killed, the flag drops to the ground. The opposing team can not touch the flag in any way, but they may put a defensive screen around it.

The round ends when one of the following occurs:

a. The flag team has reached all objectives and the enemy's home base and earned 5 points.
b. All the flag team members are dead.
c. Time runs out.

Each team gets 5 rounds, alternating, to earn as many points as possible with the herald(s) keeping track of time and points. At the end of 5 rounds the team with the most points wins.

ALTERNATE GAME 'Respawn':

Respawn game. Put respawn cones about 20 feet from home base cone. Both teams start with a flag in their home base.

The objective is to get their flag to the opposing teams home base and touch their cone. They must get their flag to each objective in turn first before they can take it to the enemies home base.

Objectives are still safe zones. Both flag bearers may be in the same objective and are safe.

Enemy flags can not be touched by opposing players if dropped to the ground. Game ends when one team reaches the opposing teams home base and plants their flag yelling "Victory is ours!"

Here is one I just came up with.

Using the same diagram, a red flag and a blue flag would be placed just outside each circle on opposite sides of the circle (maybe in cones) with an empty cone in the middle of each circle. . The objective would be to set up your flag in the middle cone of each circle and points would be awarded for the amount of time you could keep your flag in the primary position. If the other team has their flag up, you would have to move it back to it's home position before you could place your flag in the center position. You would need a herald at each scoring location to keep track of scoring time for each spot. Say each 15 seconds would give the team 1 point. Total game time would be around 15 minutes which with the winning team being that team with the most points.

That sounds like we need some stopwatches. What would be the time limit on the actual game? The 5 min type maybe?
